Job Title:  Desktop Support Technician

Working Location:  Sunnyvale, CA
Working style: [Contract] 2 days a week in the office
Employment Type: Part-time 2 days
Salary:  $25-30 per hour

Working Hours: 12-15Hours / per week, Monday and Wednesday

What will you do : 
 Provide comprehensive IT support, resolving Tier 1issues and following through on issue resolution to completion
 Respond to help desk inquiries promptly and take corrective actions to solve problems with minimum impact to the users
 Address the IT portion of employee onboarding and offboarding transitions
 Troubleshoot hardware and software errors
 Document support tasks and create processes when needed
 Support and maintain Microsoft 365 related services(Outlook/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams)
 Perform routine maintenance and reviews on IT equipment and services
 Work on IT projects as assigned 

▶︎Required Qualifications & Skills:
 2 - 3 years of experience as an IT Help Desk/Support Technician
 Thorough understanding of Networking concepts such as Network protocols, TCP/ IP, DHCP, and DNS.
 Experience with basic networking troubleshooting
 Experience setting up Windows/Mac/iPhone from scratch
 Hands-on experience working with printers and copiers
 Hands-on experience working with a ticketing system
 Possess good verbal and written communication skills
 Possess the ability to multitask
 Basic experience managing Microsoft Entra
 Ability to work without any supervision.
 Ability to lift 50 lbs.

 You need to know how to politely admit when you don't know something and tell someone that you need to ask the rest of your team for help.
 We're not looking for an IT "star" who thinks he/she can solve all the problems, but instead we want someone that can admit when they need assistance and leverage stellar team members and tools.
