▶︎ Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper at CINTER is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting accounting/ finance team. This role involves handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), intercompany transactions, monthly reconciliations, preparing and updating supporting schedules, and assisting with year-end tax preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in accounting software and financial principles.
▶︎ What will you do:
Accounts Payable (AP):
a. Process and record vendor invoices
b. Verify and reconcile vendor statements
c. Manage and monitor AP aging reports
Accounts Receivable (AR):
a. Generate and send invoices to customers and clients
b. Track and apply payments received and reconcile accounts receivable balances
Intercompany Transactions:
a. Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
b. Prepare intercompany transfer requests and reconcile intercompany accounts
c. Must be comfortable creating Journal Entries
Monthly Reconciliations:
a. Perform monthly bank reconciliations
b. Reconcile general ledger accounts
c. Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals and adjustments as needed
d. Assist in the month-end close process
e. Update supporting documentation and schedules
Year-End Tax Preparation:
a. Assist in gathering and organizing financial data for year-end tax filings
b. Prepare supporting documents and schedules required for tax preparation
c. Help with the preparation of 1099s and other required tax forms
Compliance and Record Keeping:
a. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
b. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
c. Assist with internal and external audits as needed
▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
a. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
b. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus
Experience:
a. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
b. Multi-company accounting experience preferred
c. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, Word)
d. Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and year-end tax preparation
Skills:
a. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
b. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
c. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
d. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
