Job Title: Field Service Technician Client: Machinery Maintenance Working Location: Cincinnati, OH 45246 Salary Range: DOE (approx. $30-39 per hour : negotiable depending on experience) Position Overview: The Field Service Technician will provide on-site maintenance, repair, technical support, and installation for machinery, primarily precision machinery (e.g., Machining Center), used in automotive manufacturing. The technician will ensure that the machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring that clients' production processes run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
On-site Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on production equipment, including machinery breakdowns, inspections, adjustments, and part replacements.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify mechanical issues affecting equipment performance, using diagnostic tools and specialized knowledge to resolve problems quickly.
Client Communication and Support: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact during on-site visits. Communicate clearly about service activities, maintenance requirements, and recommendations for machinery improvements.
Documentation and Reporting: Complete detailed service reports, documenting work performed, parts used, and any other relevant information.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to company and client safety protocols, ensuring all tasks are performed with a focus on worker safety and equipment reliability.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Experience in a similar field service or maintenance role, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry or machinery industry.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical in production machinery.
Languages: English, Japanese - Japanese bilingual and the experience in working a Japanese company (in the US) are preferred.
Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, document work, and collaborate with the team.
Customer Service: Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and service.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed.
