Position : SAP end-user support & coordination

Job Description: For a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for SAP end-user support, as well as coordination and adjustment of system failures and change requests. You will stand between users and SAP vendors and lead appropriate responses.
Responsibility: SAP End User Support & Problem Management
Responding to inquiries from users (SAP operation methods, data entry, basic troubleshooting, etc.)
First response and analysis of the scope of impact when a system failure occurs
Determine the priority of the problem, escalate to the SAP vendor, and follow up until resolution
Propose and implement improvement measures to prevent recurrence
Change Management & Coordination
Understand the user's business requirements and organize change requests related to SAP.
Determine which SAP module/function the change relates to and formulate an appropriate response policy
Coordinate and negotiate with the SAP vendor to lead a smooth response.
Evaluate the scope of impact of the change, explain and train users
Business Process Understanding & Improvement Support
Understand how to utilize SAP in the manufacturing industry and support the efficiency of user work
Implement simple SAP setting changes as necessary (master data management, user authority adjustment, etc.)
Propose improvements using standard SAP functions for the business issues users face
Required skills and experience
Knowledge of SAP (especially modules used in the manufacturing industry: MM (purchasing management), PP (production planning), SD (sales management), etc.
Understanding of manufacturing business processes (especially knowledge of supply chain management in the automotive industry is preferred)
Problem-solving ability: Ability to identify the cause when a system problem occurs and develop an appropriate response policy
Adjustment and coordination ability: Ability to act as a middleman between users and SAP vendors, make appropriate adjustments, and lead smooth responses
IT literacy: Proficient in basic PC operations (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
English proficiency: Ability to communicate smoothly in English as it will be used in business
Preferable
Experience in coordinating with SAP vendors
Experience in SAP configuration and operation (especially simple customization and master data management)
Experience working in the automotive industry or SAP operation experience at a Tier 1/2 manufacturer
Experience in IT support or help desk work
