▶︎ What will you do:
・Process customer orders received through EDI, email, and other channels, ensuring accurate order entry, shipping, and invoicing.
・Coordinate shipments with warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
・Prepare shipping documentation, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), purchase orders, and logistics-related documents.
・Manage inventory by monitoring forecasts, analyzing inventory levels, reconciling inventory records, and maintaining ERP/database accuracy.
・Develop order plans and delivery schedules based on customer forecasts, inventory status, and market demand.
・Support prototype, service parts, and material procurement from internal group companies and external vendors.
・Resolve shipment issues, negotiate delivery schedules, and communicate with customers and logistics partners regarding supply chain activities.
・Analyze logistics, warehouse, and transportation costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
・Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including ocean, air, truck, and courier shipments.
・Monitor global supply chain conditions, trade regulations, and logistics trends to support business continuity and inventory planning.
・Maintain and improve ERP/EDI processes, warehouse integrations, SOPs, and compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, C-TPAT, and trade regulations.
・Support continuous process improvement initiatives and perform additional supply chain projects as assigned.
▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:
・Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or 2+ years of relevant supply chain, logistics, or customer service experience.
・Experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, or order management.
・Working knowledge of ERP/EDI systems, inventory databases, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
・Understanding of import/export documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and international trade regulations is preferred.
・Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
・Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
・Excellent communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and cross-functional teams.
・Strong mathematical, data analysis, and logistics planning skills.
・Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to changing global supply chain conditions.
Language Skills
・Superior English and Japanese language skills – Native or native-like Japanese proficiency preferred.
