This position focuses on installing, maintaining, and optimizing SMT automation equipment while resolving complex technical challenges to improve operational efficiency.
Equipment Installation & Commissioning
・Install, configure, and start up SMT automation systems across North America.
・Perform system upgrades and custom modifications.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
・Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, software, and process issues.
・Provide onsite and remote support to minimize downtime.
・Work with engineering teams on complex problems.
Customer Training & Support
・Train operators and maintenance staff.
・Advise on process optimization and preventive maintenance.
Documentation & Reporting
・Collect and analyze data for troubleshooting and improvements.
・Prepare clear service reports for customers and management.
Collaboration & Communication
・Serve as technical link between customers and engineering.
・Explain technical info clearly to all stakeholders.
・Experience with SMT or automation equipment.
・Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
・Able to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
・Familiar with Windows-based systems and basic networking.
・Strong problem-solving and customer focus.
・Works well independently and in teams.
・Effective communicator.
・Willing to travel up to 25%.
